The name "Sheshach" appears twice in Jeremiah. The second time, the prophet reveals the answer in the same verse: "How is Sheshach taken... how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations" (Jeremiah 51:41).
Rashi explains: Sheshach is Bavel (Babylon) in Atbash.
The Talmud keeps using the same word (Megillah 6a), and Rashi on Sukkah 28a brings it as the first example of "gematriot".
